Anna Zubets-Anderson, CPA, ACC, MSW

Anna Zubets-Anderson is a financial and sustainability professional with expertise in human development, bringing more than twenty years of experience across corporate strategy, sustainability and financial reporting, litigation consulting, and leadership development. She helps organizations and professionals build clarity and resilience at the threshold of change — translating complexity into actionable insight and sustainable growth.

Through her practice, A2Z Transformations, Anna advises companies, investors, and attorneys on accounting, sustainability, and governance matters, and facilitates programs on leadership, stress management, and cross-functional communication. She draws on deep expertise in reporting frameworks including U.S. GAAP, IFRS, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, GRI, and CDP. Her signature resilience programs integrate cognitive-behavioral frameworks, dialectical-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and systems thinking to help individuals and organizations navigate uncertainty with purpose and effectiveness.

Previously, Anna served as an Associate Director at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), where she led sustainability strategy and reporting projects for multinational clients and facilitated a collaboration of approximately 100 global companies adapting to evolving regulatory contexts. She spent thirteen years at Moody’s Corporation as an ESG and credit analyst, evaluating sustainability and financial risks across industries facing significant environmental and social pressures. She earlier worked at KPMG LLP in the U.S. and the U.K. as an Audit Manager and member of the firm’s International Standards Group.

Anna is a Certified Public Accountant and professional coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation. She holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. A bilingual educator and artist, she integrates creative process and emotional intelligence into her teaching and facilitation.
