Anna Zubets-Anderson, CPA, ACC, MSW

ESG and employee engagement consultant with many years of experience in corporate reporting, strategy, training and coaching.

As an expert in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters, I bring knowledge of a broad range of financial and non-financial reporting frameworks, understanding of sustainability-related risks and opportunities, and powerful written, visual and verbal communication skills. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, I worked for thirteen years at Moody's Corporation, as ESG Analyst focused on sustainable finance markets, and as a credit analyst in charge of a portfolio of companies in industries pressured by significant social and environmental concerns. Earlier in my career, I spent almost a decade at KPMG LLP, as an Audit Manager in the U.S., and as a member of their International Standards Group in London, U.K. This diverse experience gave me a multi-faceted perspective on ESG risks and opportunities facing companies, as well as exposure to a variety of financial and non-financial reporting frameworks, including U.S. GAAP, IFRS, GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, UN Global Compact, and SDG alignment. I have also served as a litigation consultant, working with attorneys and other experts on disclosure-related cases. This experience gives me a nuanced perspective on corporate governance and litigation risks associated with poorly executed disclosures.

As an employee engagement consultant and leadership coach, I help individuals and business teams overcome communication barriers and reach full potential. I'm a certified practitioner of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and I use this personality typology tool in my coaching work with individuals and teams. I spent several years running an individual coaching practice alongside my corporate ESG employment. As a personal coach, I focus on career transitions, entrepreneurship, creative expression, work life balance, and stress management.

I am a Certified Public Accountant and a professional coach certified by the International Coaching Federation. I hold an undergraduate degree in business, and a Master of Social Work degree, covering social policy, human rights, corporate citizenship, leadership, and mental health.
